List of storms named Hanna

The name Hanna or Hannah has been used for twelve tropical cyclones worldwide: five in the Atlantic Ocean, seven in the Western Pacific Ocean (five regionally in the Philippines by PAGASA) and one in the Australian Region. The latter spelling has also been used for one extratropical European windstorm. Additionally, the similar name Hana was used once in the Central Pacific.

  • Typhoon Hannah (1947) – remained over the open ocean.
  • Tropical Depression Hannah (1997) (01W, Atring) – dissipated just east of Mindanao, Philippines.
  • Tropical Storm Lekima (2007) (T0714, 16W, Hanna) – a deadly tropical storm that affected both Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Tropical Storm Tokage (2011) (T1107, 09W, Hanna) – a weaker storm that stayed out of the sea.
  • Typhoon Soudelor (2015) (T1513, 13W, Hanna) – Category 5 super typhoon, had severe impacts in the Northern Mariana Islands, Taiwan, and eastern China.
  • Typhoon Lekima (2019) (T1910, 10W, Hanna) – Category 4 super typhoon, caused destruction to East China. It also happened to be the 2nd time carrying over the Philippine local given name for the storm.
  • Typhoon Haikui (2023) (T2311, 10W, Hanna) – a Category 3 typhoon that impact Taiwan.
